International Sewage Pollution Prevention Certificate (ISPP) is applicable to the following ships:

.1 new ships of 400 gross tonnage and above; and
.2 new ships of less than 400 gross tonnage which are certified to carry more than 15 persons;
and
.3 existing ships of 400 gross tonnage and above, five years after the date of entry into force
of this Annex; and
.4 existing ships of less than 400 gross tonnage which are certified to carry more than 15
persons, five years after the date of entry into force of this Annex.

ISPP is valid for up to five years and issued by recognized organization by the administration

ISPP is subject to the following surveys:

• Initial survey: before certificate is issued
• Renewal survey: when certificates expires which is not more than five years
• Additional survey when any repair is made

• System to Comminute and Disinfect the Sewage
• Holding Tank (s) for Sewage
• Sewage Discharge Pump
• Standard Discharge Connection
• Alterations and modifications
